Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re new to Leigh Park Baptist Church, or you just want to know more about what we are like, this page might just be what you are looking for.
If you cannot find the answer to your question on this page get in touch and we’ll do what we can to help.

QuestionWhen are your services and what are they like?
Sunday Morning at 10:30 sees the whole church gather together to celebrate and express our faith. They are very informal events (no special dress code – wear what you’re comfortable in) involving contemporary worship songs, reflections, prayers, a thought provoking talk and full Children’s and Youth program provided. There’s something for everyone and all are welcome.

Will I be accepted?
Absolutely! Anyone is welcome to join us no matter what their past, background, ethnicity, sexual orientation or beliefs might be. We are totally inclusive.

Can I bring my kids?
Yes, please do. We are a family friendly church. Our regular services have age appropriate groups for babies, children and young people under 16. We also occasionally have ‘all age’ services.

Do I have to give money?
Only if you want to. We are very grateful for any and every donation and gift we receive, but you are in no way obligated to give money.

Do you do weddings?
We are happy to discuss the possibility of hosting your wedding at Leigh Park Baptist Church.

Do you hire your building?
Yes. Details can be found here or by emailing bookings@leighparkbaptist.org.uk
